[moneydance] JAVA Issue: I need help

Hi John,

The most common problem with moneydance installations on linux (other
than printing configuration) is that the default Java is usually set
to gcj which is the GNU version of java that isn't capable of running
Moneydance (or many other java apps).

To test this, try running "java -version" from a terminal window and
see if the output contains "gcj". I'm not familiar with Debian, but
it should be possible to install a proper java package from either
Sun, Blackdown.org or IBM that overrides the default GNU java. You
may need to set your system PATH to point to the new java
installation.

Cheers,
Sean
