Has anyone had expected results with a "Don't Repeat" budgeted item? For
example, I have homeowners dues for $150 in March. So I set it up as a
3/8/07 "Don't Repeat". The 3/8 is the meeting date that I take my check with
me. If I run a last month's budget report I see:
Case 1: don't repeat, 3/8, $150
$18.75 budgeted $150 actual
Now, if I keep everything the same except I change to 3/1 I see:
Case 2: don't repeat, 3/1, $150
$150 budgeted $150 actual
Now in either case above if I run a year to date budget I see:
Case2: $2.50 budgeted $150 actual
Case1: $2.24 budgeted $150 actual
I don't want to use annual as that would average out each month and at the end
of the year it would be correct; however, it would be off during the year.
Thanks,
Rich
