[moneydance] B of A connection issue

i've done a cursory search but haven't seen my issue come up. when i try to
setup online banking for B of A i get the following error:

There was an error communicating with your financial institution.  The
details of this error are below.

The error code reported by the server was: 2000
The product which you are using is not enabled. Please call customer service
at 1.800.933.6262 for assistance.

i called the number but got the answer that MD is not supported. i asked the
support person to please pass on a request to add MD as a supported client
but that doesn't solve my immediate problem.

is this a known issue -is there a work around?
