[moneydance] Foreign Currency Investment Prices Change

Yes, this is because all exchange rates and prices in Moneydance are
stored, behind the scenes, in terms of the base currency. For this
reason it is best to update your exchange rates before your stock
prices.

A future version of either Moneydance itself or the stock quotes
extension should take care of this for you, but in the meantime if you
have securities based on something other than the base currency you
should always update your exchange rates before updating your stock
prices. Unfortunately this feature won't make it into the upcoming MD
2007 release.

Thanks,
Sean
