[moneydance] Find Transaction vs Increase/Decrease

I paid a bill from my checking account. When I do a Find Transaction, and
enter criteria which result in finding only this transaction, the results
show the transaction in my checking account and in the expense account. So
far so good. But the results show it as an Increase in my checking account
and a Decrease in the expense account.

Looks like a bug to me. Am I missing anything?

I also see the check number with brackets around it in the checking account
and not in the expense account. This is backwards, right? It looks to me as
though the account names are what's reversed.

For that matter, where is the bracketed check number coming from? With this
transaction, the check number is blank in the expense register and yet
shows as a bracketed number in the Find Transaction results. I'm confused
... When I imported from Quicken, I noticed that the brackets were
inconsistent but attributed it to the way Q exported. But now I'm seeing
inconsistency in new transactions entered in MD. I'm not sure if I even
care whether the check number shows on the other side at all, but I'd like
it to be consistent.
