[moneydance] Printer not working

I am running Mac 10.4.6, Java 1.5.0_06 on a G5 Dual 2.7. Have been
using MoneyDance for over a year with no problems. The last time I
opened it however I discovered that the neither checks nor reports
will print. The background (gray bars) and "total" underlines do
print but the data figures themselves do not print. When in print
mode can open the Mac Preview and see that the only thing showing are
the gray bars etc. The reports do generate on screen. The checks show
a blank screen in Preview. Printer is a Canon S9000.
I have tried the following:

1.	Down loaded new installs and installed.
2.	Opened the file in build 526, 528 and 408.
3.	Checked that the printer works (see comments on Preview above)
Also printed out a Report set of gray bars background.
4.	I maintain saved versions of MoneyDance files; tried some and
problem persists on old files.
5.	Trashed MoneyDance's .plist file
6.	Used Printer Utility to reinstall Printer

Having tried old versions of MoneyDance, old files and new, multiple
rebuilds, determined that the printer functions normally and that Mac
Preview functions correctly, I have about run out of ideas. Anyone
out there have a guess as to the issue? Still can't tell if the
problem is in MoneyDance or in my system...
