[moneydance] payments not happening

Dear Moneydance,

    I have been using moneydance for about 2 years, and many bills have
been paid through it.

    But lately, checks just don't happen.  The gas company is about
to cut off my gas on May 18, even though I entered md payments twice
for about $880.  These payments never cleared my bank account.

    Today I tried to pay my house insurance bill; very important.

    Today I notice that, in online bill payment, the list of payments
processed and "will process" did not include my last attempt to pay the 
gas co. and it did not include the house insurance bill that I just 
entered.  The insurance payment for the car insurance went out just
fine a week earlier.

    The house ins. payment did show up in my register properly.  I deleted 
that entry and tried it again -- same problem.  The payment is not
listed as "Will Process".

    Other payments went through just fine, including 2 last Friday May 12.

    Why is this so flaky all of a sudden?  Where is the flakiness.
Should I call my bank?  Would that do any good?
