[moneydance] Long Backups

Can you tell me how I can check this? I am not sure I am clear about the
"sync" issue. Thanks for your help.

Some of the latest kernel now have the usb drive set with sync. This 
normally slows the data transfer from 1 or 2 mBytes to 50 kB in some 
cases. Make sure that the USB drive is mounted without sync.
