If you've got the problem noted above, you should be getting an error from
ghostscript. At least I do when I try to view the file without editing it
first. Are you running ghostscript from the SUSE menus, or from a shell?
If you run it from a shell, the error messages (if any) will show in the
shell you ran it from.

As long as your printer understands it, then it doesn't matter. :-)
(Though apparently it doesn't.)
