That reeks of kludge. If I'm interested in my financial history, why would 
I ever delete an account that has transactions in it? I still have accounts 
going back to the start of 1993, when I converted to Quicken -- and the 
only reason I don't have another three years is that converting from the 
execrable Managing Your Money proved impossible.

Not everyone is interested in history, but some are.
