This particular printing issue affects all Java apps, not just Moneydance.

I'm using Ubuntu as well, but I also have a machine at work with SUSE 10
on it and apt-rpm on top of it. Package management is a whole lot easier
that way. I've not tried it, but Synaptic should work fine there.
