[moneydance] Investments Quotes

Jack,

first of all you have to populate the ticker symbol field for each  
security with the
symbol. Get it from Yahoo. They work quite well.

SEcondly and that is very likely what you did not do:
In Moneydance go to "Extensions" , click "Add" and select the "Stock  
Quote Synchronizer".
The later you can invoke by clicking the "Wheel" on the top right  
corner of Moneydance.
