[moneydance] Quicken classes

I'm considering converting from Quicken to Moneydance, and I've done quite a
bit of exploration. What's the recommended way to handle Quicken classes?
I've tried folding the classes into income/expense account names, which
works but it's clunky. Unfortunately, I've got 10+ years of Quicken data
laced with classes, which I'd like to preserve.

I'd be delighted if Moneydance supported labels on transactions and splits.
I don't mean Quicken's bogus classes, but something like Gmail labels (with
the level of indirection so you can edit the labels). Of course, you could
attach more than one label to a transaction or split.
