USAA Federal Savings Bank does offer Direct OFX connections and online banking with them is free. They are also noted as one of the top banks in the country to do business with. You won't find them on every street corner as the only brick and mortar location is in San Antonio, Texas but they claim every telephone and ATM in the world as a branch office. (They reimburse you for ATM charges.) My only connection with USAA is that of a very satisfied customer.

Just looking at Moneydance right now, and i like it! Too bad i live in Canada and it doesn't connect with my bank for transferring transactions. I hate my old PC, but i love Quicken. This looks very close to what i was looking for. As soon as they add Canadian banks, i will buy.

I am from Canada and new to MAC, but I'm loving it. However, when I look at the list of banks not any from the Great White North. I'm a TD Canada Trust customer and have been using Quicken for online banking. Have they been approached to goon your list. I am looking over Moneydance right now and looks like a very nice program - but would like more Canadian facilities.

Guys - Was first in line for an IBM PC in 1982 and after all these years just switched to all Macs after again waiting for MS tech help for 2 weeks. Enough !Sheesh. I now can call Mac help and some young tecchie in the US that speaks English is on the line to help! How refreshing. Anyway also long time Win Quicken user but I know nothing about QFX OFX etc. and don't really want to know. Am testing out Moneydance but all I want is to be able to set up to update all my accounts from inside the software. I don't want to log into each bank and go through all that nonsense.
I can't seem to find step by step instructions to help do that.
Help!
Many thanks

As a result of an HD crash (and my nightly backup was partially corrupted) I lost my Moneydance data and key (I've officially emailed to request a replacement). However, I would like to be able to try to recover my transactions. My bank is Bank of America (formerly fleet) so I do believe that I could do this via OFX. I'm just wondering if this is a viable option, or if a better option might be to download a QIF. I didn't see this as an option from my Bank of America online banking account.
